WASHINGTON, Sept. 18 -- The Partnership for Public Service issued the following statement by President and CEO Max Stier on the death of board member Cokie Roberts:
"The entire Partnership for Public Service family joins millions around the world in mourning the loss of beloved author, political commentator and dear friend Cokie Roberts. Cokie joined the Partnership's board of directors in 2004 and served as a valuable contributor to its efforts, including Public Service . . .
