SCHAUMBURG, Illinois, Sept. 12 -- The Society of Actuaries issued the following news release:

The Society of Actuaries (SOA) today announced the results of its member voting, with Roy Goldman, Ph.D., FSA, MAAA, CERA, serving as 2019-2020 president-elect. Roy will begin his duties as the 72nd SOA president at the 2020 SOA Annual Meeting and Exhibit, for the 2020-2021 term.
