WASHINGTON, Sept. 11 -- Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-New York, and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer, D-New York, issued the following joint statement opposing Steven Menashi's nomination to the U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals in New York:
