FORT BELVOIR, Virginia, Sept. 11 -- The U.S. Department of Defense's Defense Logistics Agency issued the following news:
Eighteen years have passed since al-Qaida terrorized the United States with coordinated attacks that killed almost 3,000 people at the World Trade Center, Pentagon and aboard Flight 93. Over 6,000 people were injured. The tragedy continues as others die from cancer and respiratory diseases directly related to the attacks.
