WASHINGTON, Sept. 6 -- Rep. David Trone, D-Maryland, issued the following news release:

Today, Reverend Kenneth Nelson, Senior Pastor of the Seneca Community Church in Germantown gave the opening prayer before the U.S. House of Representatives upon the recommendation of Rep. David Trone (MD-06).

In the House of Representatives, Members have the ability to recommend a Guest Chaplain to deliver the session's opening prayer.
