LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas, Sept. 9 -- Gov. Asa Hutchinson, R-Arkansas, issued the following news release:
Governor Asa Hutchinson announced today the expansion of the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) Computer Science Teacher Stipend Program, which will allow each high school computer science teacher to apply for up to $10,000 in stipends over a five-year period.
In 2015, Governor Hutchinson provided $5 million to ADE to begin the Arkansas Computer Science Initiative. . . .
