CONCORD, New Hampshire, Sept. 6 -- The New Hampshire Republican Party issued the following statement by Chairman Stephen Stepanek on New Hampshire Senate Majority Leader Dan Feltes claims that he is taking the pledge against a broad-based sales and income tax:
"Since Dan Feltes has previously supported an income tax, his claim that he is opposed to a broad-based sales and income tax is a flat-out lie. Just this past legislative session, Feltes tried to sneak an income tax mask . . .
