Sen. Fischer Issues Statement on Nebraska Receiving $4 Million HHS Funding to Combat Opioid Crisis

LINCOLN, Nebraska, Sept. 4 -- Sen. Deb Fischer, R-Nebraska, issued the following statement after the Health and Human Services Department announced federal funding to combat the opioid addiction crisis, including over $4 million for Nebraska:
"Opioid addiction is an epidemic across the country, and Nebraska is not immune to this crisis.
"The $4 million in federal funding for Nebraska represents another important step in our ongoing fight to combat drug addict . . .
