HOUSTON, Texas, Aug. 30 -- Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, issued the following statement in observation of the Islamic New Year as well as the special resolution honoring Islam co-sponsored by Reps. Andre Carson, D-Indiana, Ilhan Omar, D-Minnesota, and Rashida Tlaib, D-Michigan:
