TALLAHASSEE, Florida, Aug. 29 -- Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Florida, issued the following news release:
Today, Governor Ron DeSantis visited the National Hurricane Center in Miami where he received a full briefing on Hurricane Dorian. The Governor is in constant communication with federal, state and local emergency management officials and state agency leaders to ensure the state is fully prepared.
