PHOENIX, Arizona, Aug. 29 -- The Arizona Democratic Party issued the following news release:
Today, Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey reminded every Arizonan that he appointed unelected U.S. Sen. Martha McSally after Arizonans rejected her last year. But Ducey neglected to mention that he might not have done it without Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's personal "lobbying" for McSally's appointment.
