TRENTON, New Jersey, Aug. 28 -- The New Jersey School Boards Association issued the following news release:
As schools prepare to open in early September, negotiations over teacher contracts are continuing in approximately 18% of the state's school districts, the New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA) reported today. Last year, about 29% of the state's school districts were still in negotiations when the school year began, according to NJSBA, which tracks contract negotiations . . .
