THIBODAUX, Louisiana, Aug. 28 -- Nicholls State University issued the following news release:
A Nicholls State University department head will serve as an international organization's president.
The Association of Schools of Journalism and Mass Communication inducted Dr. James Stewart (BA '84) as president on Aug. 8. Stewart has served as department head of the Nicholls Department of Mass Communication since 1997.
