LANSING, Michigan, Aug. 28 -- Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:
Governor Gretchen Whitmer has ordered U.S. and Michigan flags within the State Capitol Complex to be lowered to half-staff on Thursday, August 29, 2019, to honor the life and service of former state Representative Don Gilmer and coincide with his memorial service.
