MONTEREY, California, Aug. 27 -- The Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center issued the following news:

Information Warfare Training Command (IWTC) Monterey dedicated its command training stage and surrounding buildings in honor of Senior Chief Cryptologic Technician (Interpretive) Shannon Kent, Aug. 21.
The area is now formally known as the "Kent Navy Yard," a small portion of the Presidio of Monterey and Defense Language . . .
