ANCHORAGE, Alaska, Aug. 27 -- Gov. Mike Dunleavy, R-Alaska, issued the following statement on Alaska Attorney General Kevin G. Clarkson's opinion regarding the state's compliance with the Supreme Court decision in Janus vs. American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Council 31:

"Today's Attorney General opinion clearly articulates that the State of Alaska is not in compliance with the Supreme Court's ruling in Janus v AFSCME.
