WASHINGTON, Aug. 27 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service issued the following joint statement by Burke Healey, chief veterinary officer for the U.S., Jaspinder Komal, chief veterinary officer for Canada and Juan Gay Gutierrez, chief veterinary officer for Mexico, at the 18th North American Animal Health Committee meeting:
