CULLOWHEE, North Carolina, Aug. 26 -- Western Carolina University issued the following news release:
On Thursday, Sept. 5, Western Carolina University will honor its first African-American student with a dedication ceremony of its newest residence hall - Levern Hamlin Allen Residence Hall.
