WASHINGTON, Aug. 21 -- Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, issued the following news release:
Today, Senators Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Angus King (I-Maine) announced that the University of Maine at Augusta (UMA) and Maine Humanities Council in Portland have each received $100,000 from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH).
The funding will be used to enhance humanities discussion programs at each Maine organization.
