WASHINGTON, Aug. 22 -- Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Nebraska, a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, issued the following statement regarding the Trump administration's decision to bring federal charges against a researcher at the University of Kansas who hid the fact he was working full time for a Chinese university while also working on U.S. government-funded research:
