Republican Party of Texas Issues Statement on Texas House General Investigating Committee Vote

AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 12 -- The Republican Party of Texas issued the following statement by Chairman James Dickey regarding the vote of the Texas House General Investigating Committee to ask the Texas Rangers to investigate the meeting between Speaker Dennis Bonnen, House Caucus Chair Dustin Burrows, and Empower Texans' CEO Michael Quinn Sullivan:

"At the Republican Party of Texas, we will not allow division and distraction to deter us from our 2020 mission to elect larger majori . . .
