National Endowment for the Arts Issues Statement on Death of Morrison

WASHINGTON, Aug. 6 -- The National Endowment for the Arts issued the following statement by Director of Literary Arts Amy Stolls on the death of novelist Toni Morrison:
"It is with great sadness that the National Endowment for the Arts acknowledges the death of writer Toni Morrison, one of the world's best-known and most successful novelists.
