LANSING, Michigan, Aug. 5 -- The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy issued the following news release:
An underused property in Alma will be investigated for potential environmental contamination with a $40,000 grant from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE). The grant will help the Brownfield Redevelopment Authority of the County of Gratiot determine whether past uses have contaminated the soil or groundwater.
