CONCORD, New Hampshire, Aug. 2 -- The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services issued the following news release:
Elevated concentrations of cyanobacteria are present in Long Pond in Henniker, NH. The bloom appears as small chunks of blue-green flecks throughout the water. Samples were collected from the boat launch and the deep site of the lake on 7/31/2019 and concentrations exceeded the State threshold of 70,000 cells/ml of cyanobacteria.
