TRENTON, New Jersey, July 31 -- The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection issued the following news release:

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection is working to restore habitat in the East Plains Natural Area in Ocean County's Stafford Forge Wildlife Management Area to boost populations of the state-endangered broom crowberry, a rare plant found only intermittently in the Northeastern U.S. and maritime Canada.
