ORLANDO, Florida, July 30 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:
FEMA has approved $1,719,836 for the State of Florida to help the City of Jacksonville defray the costs of rebuilding dunes on city beaches damaged by Hurricane Irma under FEMA's Public Assistance Program.
FEMA funds will reimburse the city for the cost of rebuilding dunes along a seven-and-a-half mile stretch of beach using 56,2 . . .
