CONCORD, New Hampshire, July 30 -- The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services issued the following news release, dated July 26:
A cyanobacteria bloom has been observed on Marsh Pond. Surface samples have not been collected by NHDES at this time. A deep layer of Oscillatoria (Planktothrix isothrix) was >150,000 cells/ml, and has been observed to come to the surface at certain times of the day. Surface blooms can rapidly change and accumulate in various locations around . . .
