Fred Upton, R-St. Joseph, today voted for and the House passed bipartisan legislation - H.R. 3670, the Short-Term Detention Standards Act - that would ensure individuals apprehended by Customs and Border Protection would have access to temporary shelter with access to bathroom and shower facilities, water and appropriate nutrition, hygiene and personal grooming items, and sanitation need . . .
