WASHINGTON, July 24 -- Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tennessee, chairman of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, and Ranking Member Patty Murray, D-Washington, issued the following joint statement on the Lower Health Care Costs Act:
