WASHINGTON, July 24 -- Sen. Gary Peters, D-Michigan, issued the following statement on Defense Secretary Mark Esper establishing a per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances task force to evaluate health aspects, clean-up standards and inter-agency coordination surrounding PFAS contamination:
