EAST LANSING, Michigan, July 24 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - Great Lakes Regional Field Office issued the following news release:
Mink pelt production in Michigan was 63.2 thousand pelts in 2018, according to Marlo Johnson, Regional Director of USDA, NASS, Great Lakes Regional Office. Female mink bred to produce kits in 2019 totaled 17.3 thousand.
Mink pelt production in the United States in 2018 totaled 3.10 million . . .
