COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 19 -- The Ohio Department of Natural Resources issued the following news:
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Forestry deployed a 20-person multiagency team to Alaska last week for a wildfire suppression assignment at the 45,000-acre Bergman Creek Fire in the north central part of the state. The crew will be fighting lightning-caused wildfires and providing structure protection for nearby cabins and villages.
