Alaska A.G. Clarkson: Emmonak Man Sentenced on Multiple Charges of Domestic Violence Assault

BETHEL, Alaska, July 18 -- Alaska Attorney General Kevin G. Clarkson issued the following news release:
Bethel Superior Court Judge Nathaniel Peters yesterday handed down a 17-year sentence to Michael Redfox of Emmonak after a Bethel jury found him guilty of beating and strangling his girlfriend in March of 2018. The guilty verdicts came after a lengthy trial in March 2019 during which Redfox acted as his own attorney and cross-examined the victim for nearly eight hours.
