LANSING, Michigan, July 10 -- The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality issued the following news release:
Sanborn Township in Alpena County was awarded a $220,000 Brownfield Redevelopment Grant to revitalize and safely reuse a former gas station on US-23 South near Ossineke's main four corners. The contaminated property will be redeveloped as a deli and post office with help from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE).
