LANSING, Michigan, July 1 -- The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality issued the following news release:
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) and the US Air Force (USAF) jointly announced today that the Air Force will accelerate the pace of current investigative work and increase water treatment to address per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination from the former Wurtsmith Air Force Base.
