LANSING, Michigan, June 27 -- Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel issued the following statement in response to the Supreme Court decision on citizenship question for the 2020 census:
"Today's Supreme Court decision has preserved - at least for now - the very foundation of our democracy and one of the founding principles of this country: every person counts.
