SALEM, Oregon, June 26 -- The Oregon Democratic Party issued the following statement by Chair K.C. Hanson on Oregon Republican walkout:
"The Oregon Senate Republicans' behavior is a disgrace.
"It's a disgrace that they've chosen to forget the oath they took when they were sworn in to 'faithfully discharge the duties of State Senator' and walk off the job, denying representation to more than 1.5 million of their constituents and shuttin . . .
