Rep. Roe Issues Statement on Border Supplemental Appropriations Act

WASHINGTON, June 25 -- Rep. Phil Roe, R-Tennessee, issued the following statement after voting against the Border Supplemental Appropriations Act (H.R. 3401):

"In May, the Trump administration requested $4.5 billion in emergency funding to provide our border enforcement agencies with drastically needed resources to address the humanitarian crisis at the southern border.

"Unfortunately, House Democrats have refused for weeks to provide the necessary funding and . . .
