WASHINGTON, June 25 -- Rep. John Carter, R-Texas, issued the following statement after voting against Minibus Appropriations Bill (H.R. 3055):
"It is bad policy to bring these approriations bills to the floor without a budget agreement. This package contains unrealistic topline numbers, spending $176 billion of taxpayers' hard-earned dollars over the budget caps. Ignoring the budget process is putting us in danger of sequestration and devastating cuts to the military.
