WASHINGTON, June 24 -- Reps. Phil Roe, R-Tennessee, ranking Republican member of the House Veterans' Affairs Committee, and Andy Barr, R-Kentucky, issued the following statements praising House passage of the BRAVE Act (H.R. 2109) and a bill (H.R. 2196) to reduce the credit hour requirement for the Edith Nourse Rogers Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics scholarship program of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs:
