WASHINGTON, June 20 -- Rep. Mike Bost, R-Illinois, issued the following news release:
The House of Representatives today unanimously approved an appropriations amendment offered by U.S. Rep. Mike Bost (IL-12) that ensures increased opportunities for veteran-owned small businesses to compete for grants and contracts from the U.S. State Department.
Similar preferences are already provided to American businesses owned by the socially and economically disadvantaged, as well . . .
