Rice University: Labor Rights, Environment Protections Strengthened Under North American Trade Deal, Says Baker Institute Expert

HOUSTON, Texas, June 20 -- Rice University issued the following news release:

Improved labor and environmental provisions are among the most significant changes in the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) compared to its predecessor, the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), according to a report from the Mexico Center at Rice University's Baker Institute for Public Policy.
