Sen. Risch Issues Statement at Hearing on Craft Nomination to Be U.S. Ambassador to U.N.

WASHINGTON, June 19 -- Sen. Jim Risch, R-Idaho, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, issued the following opening statement at a hearing on the nomination of Kelly Craft to be the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations:

"Today we will consider the nomination of the Honorable Kelly Craft to be the Representative of the United States to the United Nations and to be the Representative of the United States to the UN Security Council and the UN General Assembly.
