RICHMOND, Virginia, June 19 -- The Virginia Republican Party issued the following statement on the 154th anniversary of Juneteenth:
"Today, we celebrate the 154th anniversary of Juneteenth, a day of remembrance in our nation's history marking the end of slavery.
