WASHINGTON, June 19 -- Rep. Andre Carson, D-Indiana, issued the following news release:
Last night the House of Representatives passed an amendment introduced by Rep. Andre Carson that will increase funding to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) from the Department of Defense (DoD) by four million dollars above current levels.
