Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) joined her colleagues in sending a letter to President Donald Trump, opposing proposed changes to how the federal poverty rate is calculated. Early last month, the Administration announced its proposal to redefine the formula for calculating poverty, which experts are warning could result in cuts to federal aid that help millions of low-income Americans.
