MONTGOMERY, Alabama, June 18 -- The Alabama Department of Environmental Management issued the following public notice:
Stella-Jones Corporation has applied for a renewal of the Title V Major Source Operating Permit for the Montevallo Facility located at 1051 AL HWY 25, Brierfield, Shelby County, Alabama, 35035. The facility is an existing wood preserving facility (SIC code 2491). The draft Major Source Operating Permit would not authorize any new emissions of air contaminants.
