CARSON CITY, Nevada, June 12 -- The Nevada Democratic Party issued the following statement by Chair William McCurdy II on legislation empowering Nevada's workforce:
Governor Sisolak signed into law much-needed legislation to lift up Nevada's workforce, including allowing state worker collective bargaining (SB135), raising the minimum wage (AB456), implementing paid sick leave (SB312), and ensuring equal pay for equal work (SB166).
