CONCORD, New Hampshire, May 21 -- The New Hampshire Republican Party issued the following statement by Chairman Stephen Stepanek regarding New Hampshire State Sen. Jeanne Dietsch's income tax proposal:
"New Hampshire Democrats have sponsored a 6.2% income tax on families across the state.
"Senator Jeanne Dietsch made it clear in a press interview that she believes this massive income tax is "almost a painless way to raise revenue".
