WASHINGTON, May 21 -- Res. Comm. Jenniffer Gonzalez-Colon, R-Puerto Rico, issued the following remarks in celebration of the Centennial of Women's Suffrage:
"On June 4th we will be celebrating 100 years since Congress passed the 19th Amendment, which correctly recognized women's right to vote.
"At that time, only one woman had served in Congress, Jeannette Rankin, but today we have more women serving in this body than ever before.
